PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding a threading process of a strip is provided to improve quality of the strip by performing a side trimming work with respect to the strip without a width variation of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A threading process guiding apparatus includes a pressing section(10) for pressing a strip from an upper portion of the strip and a supporting section for supporting from a lower portion of the strip. The pressing section(10) has a bridge frame(11) fixed to a conveying table(1), an upper guiding blade (16) and side guiding blades(17,18), which are controlled by a plurality of guiding cylinders(12-15), and a pressing roll(20) for pressing the strip by using a pushing cylinder(19) installed on the bridge frame(11). The guiding cylinders(12-15) are divided into upper guiding cylinders(12,13) and lateral guiding cylinders(14,15). The guiding cylinders(12-15) are rounded so as to guide the strip towards a trimmer. The pressing roll(20) is rotatably fixed to a connection member(21).
