PURPOSE: A system for sensing air leakage of a variable turbo charger and engine stability control method are provided to suppress the rising of turbo charge rpm by cutting off the control of an intake manifold when the temperature of an outlet part of a compressor is higher than the range of threshold values and to prevent the degradation of turbo charger efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor(20) is installed in a specific position of an outlet terminal(11) of a compressor(10) of a turbo charger(100). If the temperature of the outlet portion of the compressor is over a threshold value, the rising of turbo charge rpm is suppressed to prevent the increment of the pressure of an intake manifold.
