<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation by enlarging a convex part surface contacting an electrode structure to lower the contact resistance, in cross section concavo-convex metal separator for a fuel cell made by press forming. <P>SOLUTION: The metal separator for a fuel cell is made of a metal plate formed in cross section concavo-convex shape by pressing, of which, the surface of a convex part 10 is kept in contact with an electrode structure. The surface 11 of the convex part 10 is removed after pressing, and a new surface 12 is formed flat as a contact face to the electrode structure.
