The present invention relates to an apparatus for low-temperature separation of gas being provided particularly with heat exchangers (2, 3), a pressure-reducing valve (7), a low-temperature separator (5) of both gaseous and liquid fractions a gas supply conduit (12), a gas off take conduit, and a liquid fraction discharge piping (14). Said gas supply conduit (12) leading to the low-temperature separator (5) of the gaseous and liquid fractions is connected to a cooling installation (4). Said low-temperature separator (5) of the gaseous and liquid fractions is provided with a cooling jacket (23) connected to the cooling installation (4). Said liquid fraction discharge piping (14) connects the low-temperature separator (5) of the gaseous and liquid fractions with a separator (6) of liquid fractions wherein said liquid fraction separator (6) is provided with a discharge piping (16) of heavy fraction and a supply piping (15) of light fraction while the latter is connected to a heat-exchange element (21) of one of the heat exchanges (3).
