PURPOSE: A medical installation tool is provided to help efficiently and effectively arrange an object, an artificial intervertebral disk for example, between adjacent vertebras. CONSTITUTION: The medical installation tool(10) has a pair of facing levers(12,14) as a main portion. Each of the levers(12,14) has a proximal handle(12B) and a distal handle(12A), and a pusher block(18). A fulcrum part(16) is provided between the two levers to ensure that the tool is correctly operated, and the pusher block(18) is arranged between the two levers(12,14) and selectively move between an initial position in which it is located on the distal side of the fulcrum part(16) and a final position in which it is adjacent to the distal end of the lever. The pusher block(18) has a proximal end, a distal end and a bore. A pusher rod(20) facilitating the movement of the pusher block has a distal end(20A) and a proximal handle end(20B) extending into the bore of the pusher block(18).
