PURPOSE: A strip edge trimming apparatus is provided to prevent a strip from being scratched due to a scrap by directing a cutting direction of rollers towards an outer portion of a strip proceeding direction. CONSTITUTION: A strip edge trimming apparatus includes a pair of inlet-side strip support rolls(11,13) provided at an inlet-side of upper and lower rollers(5,7) so as to selectively support an upper surface or a lower surface of a strip(1). An outlet-side strip support roll(15) provided at an outlet-side of upper and lower rollers(5,7) so as to support the lower surface of the strip(1). The inlet-side strip support rolls(11,13) and the outlet-side strip support roll(15) are lifted by a strip support section(3). A roller rotating section(9) is provided to rotate a gear box(17) to guide an edge strip(77) to an outer portion of the strip(1).
