PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a rudder does not work easily and backward turning, especially right backward turning can not be performed easily because propeller accelerating stream from a propeller as a driving means does not hit the rudder, when a conventional rudder type ship retreats, and especially the problem that it is difficult to improve turning property without influencing ship speed during the high speed run. SOLUTION: A thruster 16 is mounted on the upper part of the rudder 5 toward the forward direction and the thruster 16 is arranged on a central axis of the rudder 5 viewed from the rear side.
