<p>The invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing and carrying hot air to a point of application. The method comprises the use of a gas generator (3), connected to an ejector unit (17) which is fitted in an air duct (14) and which includes a nozzle (12), the gas generator (3) being used in the method for generating pressurized combustion air which is conducted to the nozzle (12), the gas mixture flowing out of its orifice (15) into the air duct (14) surrounding the nozzle (12) and applying an ejector principle to entrap some of the air present in the duct, said air being delivered to a point of application. The nozzle used in the method of the invention comprises an accelerating nozzle (12), which is supplied from fuel feed elements (10) with fuel which burns in the accelerating nozzle (12) essentially completely for heating a gas mixture flowing out of the orifice (15) of the accelerating nozzle (12) to give the same of substantial extra speed.</p> |
