PURPOSE: An α-olefin/styrene-based monomer/diene/syndiotactic polystyrene random copolymer and its preparation method are provided, to improve the heat resistance, the impact resistance, the compatibility and the productivity by employing a plurality of metallocene catalysts, to obtain a stable physical properties due to no gelation and to allow the content of styrene, ethylene and syndiotactic polystyrene to be controlled easily. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of simultaneously adding an α -olefin/styrene-based monomer/diene terpolymer metallocene catalyst(A), a syndiotactic styrene-based polymerization metallocene catalyst(B) and a co-catalyst to an α-olefin, a styrene-based monomer and a diene compound, to polymerize the monomers to obtain the α -olefin/styrene-based monomer/diene/syndiotactic polystyrene random copolymer. Preferably the co-catalyst is an organometallic compound or a mixture of a non-coordinated Lewis acid and an alkyl aluminum.
