摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the quick charge of a battery, by the quantity of energy consumed in starting, in an idling state after the start of an engine, and to improve the quick activation performance of a catalyzer by the temperature rise of exhaust gas caused by applying the load of power generation to the engine. <P>SOLUTION: After starting the engine, the speed changing state of a motor- generator speed changer 3 is kept to be the same position as that in a starting time (a reduction position).
