<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL panel together with its manufacturing method, which has such disposition structure of a moisture-absorbing member as no dark spot nor short between electrodes is generated even under a severe environment. <P>SOLUTION: In an organic EL panel 1, as well as a manufacturing method therefor, an organic EL element (laminate) 9 where an organic layer 5 comprising at least a light-emitting layer is sandwiched between a transparent electrode (first electrode) 3 and a rear surface electrode (second electrode) 6 is disposed on a glass substrate (support substrate) 2, and the organic EL element 9 is air-tightly covered with a sealing member 7. A surface of the sealing member 7 that faces the organic EL element 9 is provided with a viscous moisture- absorbing member 8 which is, so formed not to contact the organic EL element 9, with the moisture-absorbing member 8 formed thin with almost constant thickness. The moisture-absorbing member 8 is constituted by containing at least solid absorbent 8a in an inactive liquid or by containing at least solid absorbent 8a in an inactive gel member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
