PURPOSE: An automatic control system is provided to allow for rapid and stable formation of the negative pressure in the combustion chamber and prevent explosion in the combustion gas pipe. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control system comprises a negative pressure detectors(27a,27b,27c) for detecting negative pressure in the combustion chamber; an intermediate value detection circuit(56) for detecting an intermediate value from the negative pressure signals detected by the negative pressure detectors; an alarm operating circuit(50) including an operating alarm(50b), a steam power station stop alarm(50a), a burner ignition alarm(50d) and a blower motor stop alarm(50c); a negative pressure operator(51) for using the detection signal output from the intermediate value detection circuit, and comparing and analyzing the negative pressure value set in a manual set unit(58); the primary correction circuit(31) for correcting the total air for combustion being supplied in proportion to the total amount of fuel combustion in a boiler; a speed selector(33) for separating speed of inlet and outlet dampers(7,8); the secondary correction circuit(32) for correcting the signal output from the selector through the use of a multiplier(60); and a controller(107) for transmitting the negative pressure value corrected by the secondary correction circuit to the inlet and outlet dampers.
