PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electromagnetic wave absorbing materials whose flexibility, workability, and operability is made excellent capable of developing high electromagnetic wave absorbing performance, in a wide frequency region which is ranging from 1 to 20 GHz and an electromagnetic wave absorber using the electromagnetic wave absorbing materials. SOLUTION: Electromagnetic wave absorbing materials contain resin and nano-size carbon materials. The nano-size carbon materials are obtained as a carbon nano tube whose diameter is ranging from 1 to 100 nm, and whose length is not more than 50μm, and for example, the nano size carbon materials are mixed with the resin at the rate of 1 to 10 wt.pts to 100 wt.pts.
