GOLF BALL HAVING URETHANE COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid golf ball which has a polyurethane cover that can meet requirements for moldability and ball characteristics. SOLUTION: The golf ball contains a solid core comprising one layer or a plurality of layers and the polyurethane cover covering the solid core. The polyurethane cover comprises a cured body with a composition containing an isocianate group terminated urethane prepolymer and an aromatic polyamine compound; the Shore D hardness (D) of the cured body is 30 to 55 and the thickness of the cover 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The degree of deformation of the ball is 2.40 to 3.30 mm under the initial load of 98N to the final load 1,275N. It is desired that dimples with a same shape are arranged being recessed in the surface of the core at positions corresponding to the dimples of the cover.
