PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus preventing small solid particles from accumulating between two sheets to be sealed and locally obstructing heat sealing of a packaging material. SOLUTION: The apparatus has at least one first jaw portion 8 and at least one second jaw portion 9, each having a sealing means 14 and a pressurizing means 22, both capable of moving toward each other in a transverse direction C of a sending path A to grip a related transverse portion of a tube 3 and seal the tube 3 along the transverse portion. The first jaw portion 8 forms at least one first contact surface 15 cooperating with the packaging material- made tube 3 and having at least one projection 18. The pressurizing means 22 forms at least one second contact surface 38 cooperating with the packaging material-made tube 3 on the opposite side of the first contact surface 15 and the second contact surface 38 is convex in at least one projection 18 of the first contact surface 15.
