PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotation type switch device to solve a problem of high cost because no cost reduction effect of mass production can be obtained as many types of switch main body parts are required for detent mechanisms having different structure consisting of a click member 56, a leaf spring 58 and a driving body 59 provided in a switch main body part. SOLUTION: The rotation type switch device is equipped with a switch main body part having a hollow rotary shaft 8 and a switching part for being switched by the rotation of the hollow rotary shaft 8, a luminous member 11 equipped with a luminous element 12, and a print-circuit board 1. The luminous element 12 is inserted into the hollow rotary shaft 8 and attached to the print- circuit board 1. An elastic member 10 for protruding toward inside of the hollow rotary shaft is provided to form a plurality of engaging and detaching parts 11b on an outer peripheral surface of the luminous member 11 for being elastically contacted by the elastic member 10 so that the elastic member 10 engages and detaches from the engaging and detaching part 11b by the rotation of the hollow rotary shaft 8. |
