PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component column preparation method capable of preparing a title column and a component column where a character string can be extracted. SOLUTION: This component column preparation method is provided with (a) a step of noting a first character string corresponding to an object graphic plotted on a drawing by automatically adjusting a format so as to be set in a first frame (33, 34, 35, 36 and 37) and automatically noting correspondence information plotted on the drawing and making the object graphic, the first character string and first revision information correspond in a second frame (31), (b) a step of automatically adding a line (70) to the first character string when the first character string is revised to a second character string, and (c) a step of noting both of the first character string to which the line (70) is added and the second character string in the first frame (33, 34, 35, 36 and 37) by automatically adjusting the format so as to be set in the first frame (33, 34, 35, 36 and 37).
