摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger/discharger of a storage battery comprising three or more of unit storage batteries connected in series in which a specific unit storage battery can be charged/discharged concentrically while avoiding increase of the circuit scale. SOLUTION: At the time of charging a cell 10a, an FET switch 16 is connected with an intermediate joint 14ab to turn on an FET 24 and when a current to a reactor 17 reaches a specified level, the FET 24 is turned off. Consequently, a parasitic diode 22 is turned on naturally and a charging current flows to the cell 10a being charged. When a cell 10b is charged, the FET switch 16 is connected with an intermediate joint 14bc to turn on the FET 24. When the current to the reactor 17 reaches a specified level, the FET 24 is turned off. Consequently, the parasitic diode 22 is turned on naturally and a charging current flows to the cells 10a and 10b (first operation). Upon elapsing a specified time, the FET switch 16 is connected with the intermediate joint 14ab to turn on an FET 21. When the current to the reactor 17 reaches a specified level, the FET 21 is turned off, a parasitic diode 25 is turned on, and then a charging current flows to the cells 10b-10d based on the electromotive force thereof.
