PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single lens reflex camera equipped with an eyepiece keeping high magnification and made excellent in vision even in a finder whose photographic image plane size is smaller than 135 mm film and whose optical path length is long. SOLUTION: The eyepiece 8 is equipped with 1st to 3rd lens components 8a to 8c having positive, positive and negative refractive power and satisfies following conditional expressions. 0.15<tanS<0.35, 2.00<fb/Y<5.00 and -0.67<f3/f<-0.25; provided that S means an angle formed by an optical axis with the most off-axis principal light beam passing through a point on the optical axis distant from the emitting surface of the 3rd lens component 8c by 23 mm in an optical axis direction, fb means air-converted length from a screen surface 6 to the incident surface of the 1st lens components 8a, Y means the diagonal length of the screen surface 6, f3 means the focal distance of the 3rd lens component 8c and f means the focal distance of an entire system from the screen surface 6 to the emitting surface of the eyepiece.
