PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling toy system never getting weary of playing by not only traveling a track but also recognizing change command means provided on the track and changing the form. SOLUTION: This traveling toy system comprises a combination between the traveling toy 2 reversibly changing the form into a traveling form and another form such as a robot and the track 1 for traveling the traveling toy 2. The track 1 is provided with the change command means 3 commanding the change of the form to the traveling toy 2 traveling the track 1. The traveling toy 2 is provided with recognition means 58 recognizing the change command means provided on the track and change means B changing the form based on the recognition result of the recognition means 58.
