PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the constitution of process stages and the flexibility of data process in a data processing system, comprising a plurality of process stages functioning for decoding and/or decompressing different coded input signals. SOLUTION: The system has a plurality of process stages, including and input process stage for receiving input information streams which contain coded data and an output process stage for generating output information streams. The input process stage generates one or more variable-length or fixed-length tokens for the control between the plurality of process stages or data functions, a control information contained in the token identifies industrial standards corresponding to the coded data, and the token containing the control information restructures at least one of the process stages, according to the identified industrial standards so as to decode the coded data, contained in at least either of the variable or the fixed-length tokens. |
