PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reverse flow of a fuel in a main tank part to a sub tank part by eliminating a syphon action on a communication tube after an engine is stopped in an internal structure of a fuel tank. SOLUTION: This internal structure of the fuel tank comprises the communication tube 40 allowing the main tank part 10 to communicate with the sub tank part 20 across a raised bottom part 30 and a jet pump 100 causing a negative pressure by discharging the surplus fuel of the fuel force-fed from a fuel pump 60 to an engine 3 and feeding the fuel in the sub tank part 20 to the main tank part 10 through the communication tube 40 by utilizing the negative pressure. An opening valve 80 opening the fuel passage 41 of the communication tube 40 to the gas accumulation part 4 of the fuel tank 2 in the stopped state of the fuel pump 60 is installed in the communication tube 40.
