LED-BASED PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical planar light source which can be used in full color and attain high light yield point. SOLUTION: With the LED-based planar light source using principle of color mixture, in which diode beams arrayed in a plane radiating ultraviolet rays are converted into light beams with a longer wavelength by conversion with at least one phosphor material absorbing ultraviolet rays and the light beams are mixed with a blue-color component, the above ultraviolet diode beams are absorbed by at least one phosphor material, whereas, the blue-color component is supplied by at least one LED emitting blue color.
