The desired temperature gradient (TG) is set by the operator, and the system sets and monitors this temperature gradient based on sensor circuits and control algorithms. The basis of the method is the linear relationship between the amount of vapor produced and the heat-up rate. The time taken for the vapor level to rise again is measured, and used to control is the amount of vapor produced.
