The cylindrical housing (2) can be fitted with a tool (23) at its lower end (4) and is attached to an electric drive at its opposite end (3). An inner case (7), open at the bottom and closed at the top (9) accommodates an axially movable catch (10) kept in position by a helical spring (13) and has a longitudinal slot (11). A pin (12) joined to the case can be slid along the slot. A ball shaped locking element (15) is accommodated in an inner recess (14). When a control element (19) positioned laterally at the housing is axially moved, the catch is pushed down, and the locking element released.
