PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily compose and enjoy various pieces of music by using a portable terminal by speedily switching reproduced pieces of music through easy operation. SOLUTION: A music reproducing device has playing patterns assigned to respective switch operation elements of the ten-key, etc., provided to the portable terminal and reproduces the playing patterns (1, 7, 2, 7) assigned to switches when the switch is operated (t1, t2, t3, t7). Several playing patterns are contained in each pack as an individually recognizable minimum storage unit. When a pack is selected, playing patterns assigned to switches are determined. Each pack stores: synchronous patterns (1, 2, etc.), which are reproduced in musical timings ta and tb3 after the switch operation timings t1 and t3; and asynchronous patterns (7, etc.), which are reproduced immediately in the switch operation timings t2 and t6. |
