PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric switch, which decreases the noise at the time of switch operation, and does not give a bad impression because of the spectrum composition (it is the noise generated by operation of the switch and it consists of different sound of the frequencies). SOLUTION: The electric switch has a switch housing 10, a knob 12 attached in the housing, a guidance passage 30, which has a hooking concave part and has been arranged in the switch housing, and a spring load type cam follower guided by the guidance passage. The switch operation position of the switch depends on the interaction with a cam follower, the guidance passage 30, and the hook concave part. The guidance passage is made of an elastic material and has the attenuation elements 22, 24 and 26, which have been equipped in the hooking concave part.
