TURBO FAN

PURPOSE: A turbo fan is provided to increase the amount of air flow and reduce noises by improving the structure of the hub to allow for ease of air flow. CONSTITUTION: A turbo fan(70) comprises a shroud(72) forming an inlet hole; a hub(76) opposed to and spaced apart from the shroud, and which has a fixing portion(76b) formed at the center of the hub so as to allow a rotating shaft(62) of a motor(60) to be inserted into the fixing portion, wherein the hub operates by the motor; and a plurality of blades(80) arranged between the shroud and the hub. Each of the blades has an extended portion formed at the end of the blade in the hub side, so as to guide the air to the circumferential direction of the turbo fan; and a curved member(100) mounted at the center of the hub, and which compensates for the stepped portion formed between the fixing portion and the hub and allow the fixing portion and the hub to form a single curve. The curved member allows the air sucked through the shroud to change its flow direction with the minimized resistance.
