PURPOSE: An operating oil cooling system for a power steering system is provided to improve cooling efficiency by forcibly cooling operating fluid with a thermoelectric element, and to drive safely by increasing steering stability. CONSTITUTION: A cooling system of operating fluid for a power steering system is composed of an oil reservoir tank(7) storing operating fluid; a temperature sensor(21) installed in the oil reservoir tank to measure oil temperature; a thermoelectric element(23) installed around the oil reservoir tank with penetrating; a power supply unit(24) supplying power to the thermoelectric element; and an electronic control unit(25) applying power to the thermoelectric element by selectively operating the power supply unit according to oil temperature from the temperature sensor for cooling. Cooling efficiency is improved by forcibly cooling operating fluid with the thermoelectric element.
