Composition (I) comprising an aminoethylaminopropyl silicone (II) is used for post-treatment of human keratinic fibers after oxidation dyeing or direct dyeing. Composition comprising an aminoethylaminopropyl silicone of formula (II) is used for post-treatment of human keratinic fibers after oxidation dyeing or direct dyeing; Q = (CH2)3NH(CH2)2NH2; n = 0-999; m = 1-1000; n+m = 1-1000; R<1>-R<3> = OH or 1-4C alkoxy, at least one being alkoxy, or R2 = Me. An Independent claim is also included for dyeing human keratinic fibers by applying a direct or oxidation dye composition, allowing the color to develop, optionally rinsing and drying the fibers, and applying (I).
