A digital broadcast receiver(17)in which a control signal transmitting section(16)gives information representing which channel has been selected to a re−transmitter(14).A terrestrial broadcasting wave from a transmitting station is inputted into a channel selection filter(6)through a room receiving antenna(1)and an automatic gain controller(4)of the re−transmitter(14).Only the signal of a frequency component corresponding to the channel selected by the digital broadcast receiver(17)is extracted and transmitted to the digital broadcast receiver(17)through a variable−gain amplifier(7)by a re−transmitting room antenna(13).
