PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter mechanism in which the operability of a paper piece removal or the like at replacement of recording paper sheet or at paper jamming is improved. SOLUTION: A cutter blade 4 is slidably held between a separate body type cutter frame 1 and a separate type cutter blade retaining plate 2, and reciprocated by a motor 3. On the lower side of the separate type cutter frame 1, positioning arms 19 are provided at both ends on the cutter receiving blade side. The lower surface of a separate type cutter receiving blade a7 abuts on the upper surface of the positioning arm 19 so as to set the relative position. Protrusions provided at both lateral ends of the separate type cutter receiving blade a7 are engaged with the groove of a cutter receiving blade supporting plate 9, connected by a spring 10 and held by elastic force. The separate type cutter receiving blade a7 and a separate type cutter receiving blade b8 are movable in the receiving blade plate thickness direction within the groove.
