PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen sensor that can solve the problem that a diffusion control layer or protection layer formed by flame spray coating is remarkably low in holding strength, and the diffusion control layer or protection layer on the surface of a zirconia solid-state electrolyte is easily peeled off by vibration of a real car. SOLUTION: A roughened surface of 1.0 μm in surface roughness (Ra) is formed around a measuring electrode, and a diffusion control layer is formed to cover the roughened surface portion and the measuring electrode. |
