PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a chip resistor having excellent electric conductivity and adhesion strength. SOLUTION: This has a ceramic substrate, and it is provided with either a thin metal film of a Ni-Cr alloy film, an Ni-Ti alloy film and an Ni-V alloy film as a junction layer with the ceramics and a conductive layer.
