PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyolefin resin open-cell foam by mechanically processing and deforming polyolefin resin closed-cell foam produced from a similar composition to that of the open-cell foam. SOLUTION: The polyolefin resin is melted and kneaded in an extruder 1 and added with a volatile foaming agent. The mixture is extruded from a nozzle 2 and foamed, and the obtained polyolefin resin foam 10, after being subjected to mechanical processing, is mechanically deformed to open the cells of the foam 10. |
