发明名称 EXHAUST GAS PURIFY HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying honeycomb structure capable of collecting a particulate material (PM) in exhaust gas even when the exhaust gas purifying honeycomb structure is a flow-through type by which pressure loss is reduced. SOLUTION: A super porous part having a pore diameter of 500μm or less and porosity of 55 to 95% is formed at least on a part of an inner wall of a honeycomb cell. It is considered that the super porous part 16 extending along a same direction with the flow of the exhaust gas and having the high porosity has a function of collecting the PM when the exhaust gas passes through the honeycomb cell. The PM can be collected at a high collecting rate of 30 to 50%. This exhaust gas purifying honeycomb structure is the flow- through type, and thereby increase of the pressure loss is almost prevented even when the PM is accumulated on the super porous part.</p>
