PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method for easily disassembling a plasma display device to be disposed of in a short time and for useful recycling. SOLUTION: In the method for disassembling a plasma display device which is provided with a panel part 12 comprising a back panel as a non-displaying surface, adhered to a front panel as a displaying surface by using a seal material so as to form a space in the inside and a classis 130 adhered to the above back panel by adhesives, there are provided a chassis separating process 2 separating the chassis 130 from the panel part 12, and after the chassis separating process 2, a glass crushing process 3 crushing the panel part 12 to process it for producing cullet, and dissembling the plasma display device is carried out in the order of separation of the chassis and of crushing of the panel part 12.
