PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal conductivity control method for a fairing of high-speed flying body, the method being capable of adjusting to optimum heat resistance performance depending on a heating rate. SOLUTION: This fairing of high-speed flying body which flies at high speed while mounting a mounted object inside the fairing and is heated at high heating rate by aerodynamic heating in high-speed flight, comprises: a heating layer integrated by impregnating a matrix resin to heat resistance reinforced fiber; and a heat dispersion layer stacked to an inside facing the mounted object of the heating layer and comprised of a material having thermal conductivity and heat capacity larger than those of the heating layer. The reinforced fiber of the heating layer is formed into a strip shape, and the orientation of the reinforced fiber is changed depending on the heating rate so as to be made perpendicular to a heating surface as the heating rate becomes large, and made parallel to the heating surface as the heating rate becomes small.
