PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation system for an image forming device in which operation of the image forming apparatus is facilitated. SOLUTION: Short distance radio data communication means 3 and 4 are installed at a copying machine 1 and a portable telephone set 2 respectively to transmit/receive data utilizing a Bluetooth between the copying machine 1 and the portable telephone set 2 to use the portable telephone set 2 as an operation part 5 for the copying machine 1. In an external storage device 22 of the portable telephone set 2, an operation program corresponding to all the functions of the operation part 5 for the copying machine 1 is recorded. When receiving an operation start signal from the portable telephone set 2, the copying machine 1 outputs function data of the operation part 5 for the copying machine 1 to the portable telephone set 2. When receiving function data from the copying machine 1, the portable telephone set 2 reads an operation program corresponding to the received function data from the external storage device 22, executes it and transmits a control signal to the copying machine 1. |
