PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an application can not use a function of information processing owned by a device driver. SOLUTION: An apparatus for information processing comprising a device driver and an application used together with the device driver, wherein the device driver comprises an interface means to communicate with the application and unify operations of the device driver and a device control means to control peripheral devices. The application comprises at least a display control means to control a display device and an application processing means to perform a predetermined application, wherein the device driver and the application share a processing means to perform a predetermined processing.
