PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive the ISDN subaddress of a destination from an external information processing terminal and to originate a call by using this received ISDN subaddress of the destination. SOLUTION: The data communication device is provided with a transmission job receiving means for exchanging data with the external information processing terminal, and receiving a transmission job from the external information processing terminal; and a transmission job executing means for storing this received transmission job, reading this stored transmission job, and executing this read transmission job. The transmission job receiving means is a means for receiving the telephone number of the destination and the ISDN subaddress of the destination, and the transmission job executing means is a means for originating a call by using the number of the destination and the ISDN subaddress of the destination received by the transmission job receiving means.
