<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid waste of a material and lighten a product by making the plate thickness of a flange according to a required value on designing and the plate thickness of a central part thinner than it, in the product after forming. SOLUTION: In the forming method for the product provided with the flange on its outer periphery, an intermediate product 20, wherein the outer peripheral flange 22 and the central part 26 surrounded by the flange 22 are connected stepwise, is formed. Thereafter, the outer peripheral part of the flange 22 in the intermediate part 20 is subjected to plastic deformation in the inside direction by ironing to increase the thickness of the flange 22 by the movement of the thickness of the material accompanying the plate deformation.</p> |
