METHOD FOR CORRECTING OFFSET IN ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MOUNTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting offset of the coordinate of origin of mechanical operation and the origin of coordinate of image recognition in an electronic component mounter. SOLUTION: When an electronic component is mounted by setting a circuit board through mounting operation for detecting positional shift, positional shift of the mounted electronic component from a specified position is detected. When a mounting head 20 is moved by a distance corresponding to the positional shift, movement of the mounting head 20 is measured by means of an X-axis encoder 13 and a Y-axis encoder 14 and the origin of coordinate of image recognition is corrected based on that movement.
