A fitting for sashes (2) in windows, doors or the like which can be tilted or pivoted 180{ inwards or outwards. The sash (2) has an axis of tilt or rotation (4a), which is arranged at an upper or lower end (4, 5) of the sash and which is movable in guide rails (8). The sash (2) is supported and moved by fittings on opposite sides of the sash (2), where the fitting comprises a scissors device (10) consisting of a supporting arm (11) and two guide and load arms (12, 13) which are hinged at fulcra (14, 15, 16, 17, 18) to the supporting arm (11), the sash (2) and the blind frame (1), with the result that in the closed position, all the arms (11, 12, 13) and the fulcrums (14-18) of the fitting are located on the half of the sash (2) which in the sash's (2) closed position faces the axis of tilt or rotation (4a). The fulcra (18 and 17) on the supporting arm (11) form a line and the fulcrum (14) between the supporting arm (11) and the first guide and load arm (12) is located at a distance from the line and on the side of the line, which faces the blind frame (1) when the window is in a narrow ventilating position. A biassed dog (not shown) at the end of the supporting arm (11) may engage a pin mounted on the sash to restrict opening. |
