PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a power mode can be set delicately based on a time table formed in conformity with the operating state of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The time of a set time table is detected (S1). In case of mismatch, current power mode is sustained as it is (S6) before the control returns back to step S1. In case of match at step S1, a decision is made whether the power mode is different from the current power mode (S2). If it is not different, current power mode is sustained as it is (S7) before the control returns back to step S1. If it is different at step S2, a decision is made whether a sleep mode is set (S3), and sleep mode is executed (S8) if it is set before the control returns back to step S1. If the sleep mode is not set at step S3, a decision is made whether a waiting mode is set (S4), and waiting mode is executed (S9) if it is set before the control returns back to step S1. If the waiting mode is not set at step S4, a decision is made whether a print mode is set (S5), and print mode is executed (S10) if it is set before the control returns back to step S1. If the print mode is not set at step S4, the control returns back to step S1. |
