<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for transmitting a driving force that can stabilize the attraction force of an armature by energization of an electromagnet and downsizing the device itself. SOLUTION: A device for transmitting a driving force includes a rear housing 31b and the rear housing 31b supports a yoke 36 having an electromagnet 33 through a bearing 40. An outer ring 40b and the yoke 36 rotate slightly with a center point C of the bearing 40 as the center of the rotation since the bearing 40 has play. However, as end faces 61a and 62a are formed so that each of them are along with a virtual spherical face with the center point C as the center, the width of the clearance between the end faces 61a and 62a does not change even if the yoke 36 rotates. Accordingly, since the width of the clearance is always stabilized, the width can be made smaller and the force to attract the armature by the electromagnet 33 can be raised. Since the armature is attracted strongly to the electromagnet 33, it becomes possible to reduce the number of clutch plates that are friction engaged with the armature, downsize the clutch plates, and make the device for transmitting a driving force smaller.</p> |
