PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition where swelling phyllosilicate is uniformly dispersed and where heat deterioration is suppressed. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises (1) thermoplastic aromatic polyester, (2) a polyester copolymer containing 10% by mol or less of aromatic dicarboxylic acid, having a sulfonic group and (3) swelling phyllosilicate treated with an organoonium ion.
