<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enhancing the apparent density and shape quality of granulated matter manufactured by the compression molding of waste plastics in order to recycle waste plastics as a chemical raw material, and to economically pyrolyze the waste plastics granulated matter to obtain the chemical raw material or the like. SOLUTION: Waste plastics containing 15 mass % or more of film-like plastics is crushed by a crusher 1 to manufacture plastic pieces having a size fitted to compression molding treatment and these plastic pieces are molded by a compression type molding machine having a through-hole mold having a diameter of 5-80 mm to manufacture the cylindrical granulated matter. Further, this waste plastic granulated matter is recycled as the chemical raw material in a pyrolysis process. In the pyrolysis process, a coke oven or a shaft furnace is used.</p> |
