PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting and recommending a bleaching cosmetic, by which the bleaching cosmetic fit to the skin of a user can reasonably be selected and easily be understood by the user. SOLUTION: This method for selecting and recommending the bleaching cosmetic is characterized by classifying skins into at least two types with regard to the ultraviolet light sensitivity of the skins, preparing at least two kinds of bleaching cosmetics containing active ingredients fit to each type of skins, as the cosmetics to be selected, specifying whether the skin of the user fits to either of at least two types of the skins, and selecting and recommending the bleaching cosmetic fit to the skin of the user from the bleaching cosmetics to be selected.
