PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact-type collision sensing switch device, which can reliably actuate a switch to turn on upon receipt of a pressing force and allows a shock absorption stroke from the switch set-on to the stop of actuation to be set long. SOLUTION: The base ends of an inner and outer elastic plates 20, 19 are laid one on the other and secured to each other, and the other ends of both are set to be free. The outer plate 19 separates from a midway of the plate 20 to its free end with a space held from the plate 20, and a switch 4 active to a pressing force is mounted on the inside of the inner plate 20 facing the outer plate 19 with the space. It is structured so that the outer plate 19 is made to be more easily deformable by a pressure exerted on the outer plate 19 than on the inner plate 20.
